If you don’t want to make your own magic Reindeer food, keep an eye out at local craft stalls or school fetes. We get a packet each year from the school fete.
BagFor the bag there are a few options. The one in the picture is made from calico. If you don’t want to sew you can choose paper bags, organza bags from the craft store, use material but use craft glue to join the edges and zig zag scissors for the top to stop fraying.
To decorate the bag write Reindeer Food at the top and add a picture if you like. Tie with a nice ribbon.
Rolled oats or something similar mixed with glitter. Add the glitter so the reindeer can find the food!
On Christmas eve the kids can sprinkle the Food onto your front lawn so the Reindeer have something to eat while they wait for Santa.
Don't forget to leave Santa a drink and snack, he'll love these Christmas Cookies.
