Princess Castle Cake
Hailey's 5th Birthday

I did a bit of research on the net for Princess Castle cakes and I found they all had one theme in common, ice-cream cones for the towers...

So I put one together using the following:
- 1x rectangle cake,
- 1x round cake,
- 4x large cupcakes and
- 6 small cupcakes which I put some cardboard letters on for her name.

I wrapped 5 waffle cones in pink paper and made some flags from fancy pink cardboard. I placed 4 of the cones on top of the large cupcakes at the four corners of the rectangle cake and placed the round cake in the middle with another cone in the middle of that, and placed marshmellows around it.

I used Hailey's favourite polly pocket type princess dolls, and a prince! to surround the castle.

Then I just decorated with pink icing. I like to use the ready made vanilla frosting by Betty Crocker and my favourite cake decorating lollies, (marshmellows, pink musk sticks, jubes and smarties) and of course, sprinkles.
